Local business owners and residents can connect with area nonprofits and welcome a new veterinary practice to Wesley Chapel during two North Tampa Bay Chamber events the first week of August.
Pitch With A Purpose: Non-Profit Showcase brings four chamber-affiliated nonprofits together for a panel discussion from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Pasco-Hernando State College's Porter Campus, third-floor conference center, 2727 Mansfield Blvd., Wesley Chapel. The chamber has not yet named the four organizations on the panel, according to its Instagram announcement.
Registration costs $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members. Advance sign-up is required.
The following day, the chamber hosts a ribbon cutting for LiveWell Animal Hospital of Wesley Chapel from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 26855 Wesley Chapel Blvd. The ceremony itself begins at 11:30 a.m., according to the chamber's Instagram post published July 26.
The chamber invited pet owners, members, and community supporters to tour the new facility and meet the veterinary team. No details about LiveWell's ownership or staff have been released publicly.
