Sunlake High School will hold first-semester exams and assessments Dec. 9-16, with a morning testing block on each of the six school days.

The exam block will run from 7:51 to 10:01 a.m., according to the school's schedule, published Nov. 5. Testing begins with first-period classes Wednesday, Dec. 9, and continues one class period per school day, ending with sixth period Wednesday, Dec. 16.

Depending on their courses, students may take classroom exams, district finals or state and other assessments. The school's announcement provides the complete day-by-day lineup and assessment list.

Students assigned to a different testing room will receive their reporting location. Testing groups may be adjusted for state requirements and student accommodations, the school said.

The school said a modified bell schedule for exam days would be posted separately. Students enrolled in off-campus English 10 who need the FAST PM2 assessment should contact the school to arrange testing.

Makeup testing is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17, for state assessments and Friday, Dec. 18, for district final exams. Students who miss testing should work with the school to complete the required assessments during those windows.
