Four events across Land O' Lakes and Odessa fill the calendar Friday and Saturday, spanning a night market, a veteran fireside chat, a nutrition workshop and a library author fair.
Moonlight Market returns to The Hub at Bexley
The biggest draw is the Friday Moonlight Market, returning to The Hub at Bexley, 16954 Focus Loop, from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. The free, recurring market runs every second and fourth Friday and is both kid-friendly and pet-friendly. Organized by Florida Penguin Productions, the market features live music, food vendors and a variety of vendors selling jewelry, soaps, pastries and decorations, according to Tampa Bay Beacons. Past editions have drawn vendors offering sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, caramel apples, smoked spices, BBQ rubs and handmade items from Peru, according to Fun4TampaKids. Pet owners can look for the Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming partnership booth.
Veterans invited to Friday fireside chat
Also at 6 p.m. Friday, Woodland Farms at 9318 Bahia Loop in Land O' Lakes hosts Rally Point, a veteran outreach fireside chat. The program meets every second Friday and welcomes veterans of every branch and era.
Workshop offers healthy eating tips Friday morning
Earlier that same day, BayCare holds a Healthy Workshop Series session at 11 a.m. at the Starkey Ranch Theatre Library Cultural Center, 12118 Lake Blanche Drive in Odessa. The session covers building a healthy plate and tips for meals and snacks.
Library hosts author fair on Saturday
On Saturday, the Land O' Lakes Branch Library at 2818 Collier Parkway hosts an Author Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local authors will be on hand, and Kristin Wollett presents "A Peek Behind the Curtain: How Stories Become Novels" from 11 a.m. to noon, according to Pasco Libraries. The fair is free.
