Land O' Lakes High School hosts Meet the Teacher Day on Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at 20325 Gator Lane, according to the school's website.
Freshman orientation runs alongside teacher meet-and-greet
The morning also includes Gator Growl, the school's freshman orientation for incoming ninth graders. Registration is required online at lolhs.pasco.k12.fl.us. Students in grades 10 through 12 can volunteer at Gator Growl from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and earn six community service hours.
School serves more than 2,200 students under Macri
Principal Cheryl Macri leads the school, which serves about 2,233 students in grades 9 through 12.
Classes begin Aug. 13 countywide
