More than 120 Steinbrenner High School orchestra students spent Sunday, Aug. 23, working with clinicians during an intensive daylong session, according to the school's social media account.

The Lutz-based program said students spent the day honing technique and developing as musicians. The school did not identify the visiting clinicians. Program Builds on Carnegie Hall Debut

Steinbrenner's orchestra has earned Superior ratings at Music Performance Assessments. In 2025, 91 students performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City and gave the world premiere of "I Would Be True," a commissioned work by Mosier. It was the program's first performance at Carnegie Hall.

Ahead of that trip, Szarowicz told Fox 13 Tampa Bay in March 2025, "I hope I don't cry on the stage. But it will be happy tears."

Rome Trip Planned for 2027
