A new master-planned community with 154 single-family homes is now open in the Pasadena Hills area of Pasco County, giving buyers near the SR-54 and I-75 corridor another option starting at $349,990.

Mattamy Homes celebrated the opening of Pasadena Ridge with a grand opening and ribbon cutting hosted by the Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce in August. Four decorated model homes are now open for tours, and the builder confirmed on its Facebook page that the community is officially accepting visitors.

The development sits just off Handcart Road, with connections to I-75, SR-52, SR-54 and US-301. Mattamy closed on the homesites March 26 and began sales April 18, according to a company press release.

What buyers get

Homes range from 1,601 to 3,790 square feet with two to five bedrooms, two to four bathrooms and two- to three-car garages. The four model homes open for touring are the Brookstone, Glades, Myrtle and Redbud. Mattamy offers both early move-in homes and ready-to-build options that let buyers personalize finishes.

Amenities and the Super Park next door

Pasadena Ridge's planned amenities include a clubhouse with a fitness center, outdoor kitchen, resort-style pool, pickleball courts, a food truck lawn, an adventure playground and dog parks.

The community also borders a planned Pasco County public "Super Park" spanning more than 300 acres. County documents describe the park as eventually including multi-use fields, baseball diamonds, a recreation complex, an aquatic facility, playgrounds and a wilderness park. The Super Park's construction timeline has not been publicly confirmed.
