The market invites shoppers to browse local vendors and support small businesses at the hotel's Odessa location. Basic Vegetable Gardening — Wednesday, Sept. 2

For residents thinking about fall planting, UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension is hosting a free Basic Vegetable Gardening class on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Land O'Lakes Library, 2818 Collier Parkway. Land O' Lakes Business Exchange

The Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce continues its Land O' Lakes Business Exchange networking series at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tampa Suncoast Parkway, 16615 Crosspointe Run. The chamber called its Aug. 13 session "our largest Land O' Lakes Business Exchange yet," noting it brought together local professionals for lunch, table topics and connections across the Pasco County business community. Precedent Payments sponsored that event, with Carrabba's Italian Grill providing lunch.

A listing in the Patch AM digest places the next session on Monday, Aug. 24, at 11:30 a.m. at the same SpringHill Suites location, though the chamber's official online calendar had not posted the date as of Aug. 18.
